This church is rooted in the heart of 1 Samuel 22:2, where God gathered people who were burdened, overwhelmed, or searching for more and formed them into a family.

Our Pastors

Pastor Derry L. Moten is a co-vocational pastor, leadership coach, and long-time teacher of the Word. With more than 30 years of ministry and leadership experience, Pastor Derry is committed to equipping believers to grow in spiritual maturity, discover their God-given identity, and walk in their Kingdom calling.

He serves alongside Executive Pastor Tammie Moten, who brings pastoral insight, organizational strength, and compassionate leadership to the life of our church. Together with our pastoral team, they lead ALWC with humility, faith, and a deep love for God’s people.
